SCI-FI & FANTASY Presents Wild Compilation Series
SCI-FI & FANTASY presents the first two entries in a new series offering solid techno from New York City. Inspired and dedicated to NYC’s ever-changing soundscapes and the shaky social climate of the city, the Wild series features pounding and unrelenting rhythms and grooves, dance music for deep club caverns.
Mayster spearheads Wild 1 with a stunning new production – “Put’em” is a gully dancefloor gem designed for the darker underbelly of NYC clubland or any Bushwick warehouse. Fellow TURRBOTAX resident and Brooklyn badman Contakt comes correct with the mesmerizing “Mercure” while newcomer to the village Sinclair calmly steps up with virulent sweetness in “Proch”.
Arguably the most confounding piece on Wild 2 comes from restless NYC club ruler Mess Kid with the extreme, hard working class cut “Assembly Line”. Elsewhere one more newcomer Nolsli makes a strong debut with the super-crafty techno roller “XVI” while Wanderers wraps up the proceedings with the propulsive, hard groove “Center of the Universe (Roughly)”.
